Hello

    Saturday, June 23, 2007, 04:56 AM [General]

Well hello.  This is my very first blog and I'm not terribly sure who will see it or how or why, but I will tell you a little about myself.  I have been a hypnotherapist for about 9 years and I absolutely love it.  You just can't beat being part of someone's transformation.  I feel as though I have the best job in the world.  Prior to that I worked in HR doing training and coaching and I still have an HR consultancy in addition to my hypnotherapy practice.  Sometimes I am able to blend the two together which is wonderful.  And my background means that I am able to do work for corporate clients as well as the man (or woman) on the street.

I work in Surrey and also in Harley Street, London.  And I treat many conditions affecting people's relationships, wellbeing and career.  I do a lot of personal development work, self-esteem building and, as a Master Practitioner with the National Centre for Eating Disorders, I have a lot of clients with weight issues and eating disorders.  I enjoy the variety of my work and I enjoy the variety of clients who come to see me for help and I enjoy the variety of techniques that I use.  So, I suppose you will get from this that I like variety!  It keeps me fresh and enthused and means that I can blend my style to get the best results for my clients.

I have been married to Tom for ever. We have a lovely home that we have just spent a year remodelling and, though we don't have children, we do have what is quite possibly the most beautiful dog on the planet.  His name is Max and he is a lot of fun.  Big, fluffy and silly and fabulous.  It's his tenth birthday on Monday and he will have lots of presents.

I love to dance, dine out with friends and walk and work out.  Whilst not being very gifted at any of these things (not even the walking - I trip up a lot.  And I can be overly adventurous with food) I do enjoy all of them.  I also have a quirky sense of humour which frequently needs explaining.  This can be tiresome, not just to me but also my audience.  This was a joke - see, I have to explain it! :)

So that's it.  Nothing else to tell you.  Don't know who will see it and don't know what will happen now so I will wait with baited breath.

    Hello Tricia!

Another UK hypnotist on the network! It is so great to see you here. Make sure you check out the Groups area, I know there are one or two groups there that you will like.

Excellent blogging by the way, reading it brought back fond memories of my recent trip to London and seeing all you 5-PATHers there! I am looking forward to the next trip (and having another pint of TEA)!

Have fun with your new site! (Oh, and I’d like to see a photo of Max as well; it will be nice to put a face to my patter script for premature ejaculation. ;-) That has got to sound really weird to anyone who has not taken my class or read my patter script book! Oh, well. :-)

Have fun with your new website!
